1970 – 1975
Ah! That staff and children of former days had been blessed with such good fortunes! Mr McLean terminated his appointment in August 1970, finding fresh pastures as headmaster of the new Primary School in Llandegfan.
In 1971 the school was substantially refurbished internally. Most of its archaic furniture was removed and replaced by brightly coloured tables and chairs and mobile storage media were provided. Such alteration served well to accommodate an increased pupil population, affording greater mobility within the classrooms. Added to this the school was painted throughout in multiple colours to tone harmoniously with the general décor within.
